As a key member of our Sterile Processing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Sterile Processing unit, ensuring the efficient processing and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Sterile Processing unit, ensuring the efficient processing and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment.
  • Supervise and train a team of Sterile Processing technicians to ensure they are following proper protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of instrument processing and sterilization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or additional two years of work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Five years working in central sterile processing, manufacturing, logistics, or assembly in a healthcare environment, with one year of progressive responsibility.
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) and Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) certifications.
