Tire Service Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Tire Service Mechanic to join our team at Discount Tire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing new tires and wheels, performing maintenance on tires, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Install new tires and wheels on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance on tires, including rotations, balancing, repairs, and cleaning.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest tire technology and industry best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that every customer leaves our store satisfied.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong mechanical background and experience working with tires and wheels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and other team members.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
