Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Mission Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to adolescents and their families.

• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to meet the unique needs of adolescents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document patient care and treatment plans to ensure accurate and timely communication.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a commitment to obtaining a BSN within 5 years of hire date.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Preferred: National Certification in psychiatric-mental health nursing and 1 year of hospital nursing experience.
