Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

Get with Spiffy and take your career to the next level As a key member of our fleet servicing crew, you'll travel between locations, performing a variety of services such as preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing vehicles while ensuring compliance and maintaining open communication with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and potential problems.
  • Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to analyze vehicle malfunctions and determine appropriate repair methods.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and time required for completion.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
  • Test and verify repaired vehicles to ensure proper functioning and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and follow safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Working Conditions:

This role will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt, and exhaust fumes.
