Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours of work per week, with a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast agents as needed to enhance image quality
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide emotional support as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography (CT)
  • 2+ years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or imaging center setting
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
