Job Title: RN- FT NOC 12 hour shifts

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Covenant Living Communities. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the orientation of new LPN/LVNs and nursing assistants, reinforcing training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
  • Provide direct patient care, including procedures such as catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, naso-gastric tubes, and other treatments.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggestions, and problem areas.
  • Observe and evaluate residents' health, mental, and emotional conditions, and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
  • Participate in report at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure proper information about residents is communicated.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
  • Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
  • One year of nursing experience.
  • Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
