Job Summary

As a Delivery Driver at Graybar, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, safe driving practices, and effective communication. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery
  • Help determine the most efficient routes for delivery to meet customer expectations
  • Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Inspect vehicle and supplies to ensure safe operation
  • Maintain proper truck logs and adhere to all safety protocols
Requirements
  • Customer service skills and ability to work effectively with customers
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment, including passing pre-employment physical testing
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE
  • Experience required driving a van or truck equal or below 26,000 GVW
  • Valid driver's license issued by his/her state of residence appropriate for type of vehicle
  • Ability to pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification
