About the Role:
OpusLex is seeking a seasoned attorney with a strong background in trademark and related intellectual property laws, as well as litigation and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 4 years of experience in a law firm setting and be looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage experience in trademark clearance and prosecution, both domestic and global, to provide top-tier legal counsel to clients.
- Play a crucial role in federal court litigation, drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
- Ensure compliance with FTC and other advertising laws, while reviewing creative assets for major brands.
- Manage Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings, and add depth to your expertise in trademark law.
- Provide sound, practical legal advice to clients, and help them navigate complex trademark and IP matters.
What Sets You Apart:
- Experience in Copyright law.
- Background in the restaurant, software, life sciences, and/or consumer packaged goods industries.
- Proficiency in Spanish would be a plus.
Compensation:
$250k to $285k, with the potential for up to $320k for candidates with more senior experience.
