Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead CNA/HHA to join our team. As a Lead CNA/HHA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervisory support to care team members, ensuring seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Support care team members in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services, including bathing, grooming, and personal care.
  • Encourage resident participation in life enrichment programming and ADLs, promoting a sense of community and engagement.
  • Assist with meal service and coach care team members on hospitality standards.
  • Accurately document care and services provided to residents, ensuring compliance with Sunrise's documentation policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies, monitoring team member break schedules and clocking in/out procedures.
  • Display flexibility in work schedule, working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.
  • Prepare for shifts by obtaining resident group assignments and distributing daily assignment sheets to care team members.
  • Participate in crossover meetings, sharing and receiving pertinent information with other Lead Care Managers.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED, with a strong preference for experience working with seniors.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with care team members, community managers, residents, and family members.
  • Medication Management Certificate required, with ongoing training and re-education per Sunrise and state requirements.
  • Previous experience working with seniors and a desire to serve and care for seniors.
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies, including the ability to delegate assignments, make choices, and act in the residents' best interest.
