Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our registered nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Collaborate with registered nurses to determine nursing care needs based on collection and interpretation of data relevant to the health status of the patient.
- Participate in ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient care needs, making recommendations for changes in care as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Kentucky.
- Experience working in a progressive care unit or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
