Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our business, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships to ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision
  • Processing prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
  • Verifying medicine is correct and checking for possible interactions
  • Registering sales on assigned cash register and handling cash as required
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving customer issues
  • Developing strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers
  • Assisting with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals
