Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our team at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures and maintaining related records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out appropriate ultrasound procedures and maintain related records
  • Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies
  • Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff
  • Work on day shift and two overnight shifts in a week
  • Adhere to the principles of caring and expected behaviors outlined in Mercy Medical Center's Model of Caring and Trinity Health's Code of Conduct
Requirements
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Must be ARDMS registered in vascular technology or obtain within 24 months of hire
  • Prefer prior sonography experience
  • Competencies, and Aptitudes: Must have advanced knowledge of radiation safety standards
