Key Responsibilities:

The Facilities Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring a clean and hygienic environment throughout the facility, which includes:

  • Regular cleaning of floors and carpets, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
  • Dusting and polishing various surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Maintaining restrooms and kitchen areas to ensure they are sanitary and well-stocked.
  • Managing waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness in outdoor areas.
  • Setting up and dismantling furniture for meetings and events, as well as moving heavy items as needed.
  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks, including painting and basic repairs.
  • Performing landscaping duties such as mowing lawns and tending to flower beds.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the premises to ensure security and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in custodial or maintenance roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
