Denver Health, a leading integrated health care system in Colorado, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Occupational Health and Safety Clinic Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership and support to registered nurses and medical assistants, ensuring the highest quality care for employees.

About the Role

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing managerial duties to clinical staff, including timecards, performance appraisals, and scheduling.
  • Orientating new hires and ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Preparing reports as requested by executives and other stakeholders.
  • Performing ancillary testing, such as hearing, vision, EKG, and spirometry.
  • Assisting in treating employee exposures and workplace injuries.
  • Monitoring and updating employee health programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting research on hazardous work conditions and workplace exposures, including gathering data and reporting findings to employers.
  • Drawing and collecting blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing.
  • At least one year of relevant experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation and Employee Health principles.
