Work Arrangement: Onsite

Agile is seeking a Senior Certification and Compliance Engineer to spearhead the product certification and emissions compliance initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and overseeing certification and compliance protocols for products
  • Interpreting and implementing UL, NFPA, and emissions regulations into engineering design, installation, and testing
  • Collaborating with design teams to guarantee regulatory compliance across all components
  • Communicating UL standards and securing safety approvals from suppliers
  • Creating and executing test strategies for hardware and software, liaising with NRTL laboratories for compliance assessments
  • Leading discussions with CARB and EPA regarding emissions compliance and certification
  • Documenting design modifications to maintain ongoing regulatory compliance
  • Keeping abreast of industry standards and conducting internal compliance audits

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of UL2200, UL 1741, NFPA 70, EPA, and CARB regulations
  • Familiarity with Li-Ion Battery systems and associated safety protocols
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related discipline
  • Over 10 years of experience in relevant engineering positions
  • Demonstrated expertise in compliance engineering for power generation systems and managing technical projects
