Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trial Attorney to join our legal team at Allstate Insurance. As a key member of our in-house litigation team, you will play a critical role in defending our company and its insureds in various legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal cases, identifying key issues and developing persuasive arguments.
  3. Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, under the supervision of senior attorneys.
  4. Assist in interviewing clients and witnesses, and drafting summaries of their statements and maintaining communication records.
  5. Represent the company or clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings, as needed.
  6. Monitor changes in laws and regulations, and assist in updating the legal team on potential impacts to ongoing cases.
  7. Participate in training sessions and mentorship programs to develop legal skills and gain exposure to more complex legal work.
Requirements
  1. Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
  2. Successful completion of courses focused on legal research, writing, and analysis, demonstrating the ability to conduct thorough legal research and draft clear, well-structured legal documents.
  3. Demonstrates strong time management skills, effectively balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  4. Capable of organizing case files, managing legal documents, and understanding the discovery process.
  5. Skilled in communicating with clients, preparing summaries, and maintaining records of interactions.
  6. Well-versed in legal ethics and the standards of professional conduct.
  7. Equipped with fundamental negotiation techniques and strategies for client interactions and settlement discussions.

Compensation

The compensation offered for this role is $66,650.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
