Job Description:

Pontiac Stationary Phlebotomist

Responsibilities include:

  • Requisition review and order of draw knowledge
  • Draw patient samples (blood), process them properly, and package the samples, typically 15-25 times per day
  • Communicate with clinic staff daily to organize and schedule blood draws and coordinate the pick-up/shipping of samples to the medical testing site
  • Maintain flexibility as the schedule could change in the morning

Requirements:

  • Blood draw / +6 months experience reading requisitions and knowing your order of draw
  • Phlebotomy / +6 months experience reading requisitions and knowing your order of draw
  • Venipuncture / +6 months experience reading requisitions and knowing your order of draw
  • Reading requisitions 6 months of experience

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s)

Work Site: Fully on-site position in Pontiac, Michigan
