Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant II to join our team at Rogue Community College. As a key member of our Business Office, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties, including establishing and maintaining accounting records, preparing and reviewing trial balances, and preparing statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general accounting, reporting, and budgeting for assigned accounts
  • Prepare and complete audit documentation
  • Develop and maintain dashboard reporting in partnership with Instructional Research (IR) Information Technology (IT)
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the College ERP accounting modules
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related area
  • Minimum of three years accounting experience with fund accounting, budget analysis, and preparation of financial statements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an educational institution and with A/P, A/R, and payroll
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) certification
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position in the Business Office. The successful candidate will be required to work on-campus at the Redwood Campus in Grants Pass, Oregon.
