This is a full-time hourly position on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with some mandatory Saturdays. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of operations/production equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve issues with production welders, torches, saws, and metal finishing equipment in a timely fashion.
- Perform maintenance tasks using basic hand tools and basic power tools, with experience with machine shop equipment preferred.
- Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/installing production hoists in a timely fashion.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with overhead roll doors throughout the facility.
- Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/resolving issues with other operations/production equipment, as directed.
- Safely and proficiently operate fork trucks and aerial lifts, with experience with rigging preferred.
- Perform maintenance electrical tasks, including troubleshooting and movement of circuits, with experience using a multi-meter or other electrical testing equipment preferred.
- Perform maintenance mechanical tasks, including troubleshooting and rebuild, with experience rebuilding/maintaining weld feeders, plasma torches, and saws preferred.
- Responsible for good housekeeping practices and implementing/sustaining 5s standards.
- Observe all safety rules and policies, and maintain and promote the safety of systems and equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience/Education in machine operation and repair preferred.
- Welding competency and knowledge of welding systems preferred.
- Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
