Medical Imaging Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Medical Imaging Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise in computed tomography (CT) scanning and work in a dynamic environment.

Job Summary

This 13-week contract position will involve working as a CT Technologist in a busy hospital setting, providing high-quality imaging services to patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners to ensure optimal performance
  • Position patients correctly for scans, ensuring accurate imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and provide expert opinions
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to improve imaging protocols and patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Rhode Island
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • At least 2 years of experience in CT scanning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
