Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Surgical Services team. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, promote a culture of excellence, and foster a positive and supportive work environment.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
- Experience in surgical services or a related field.
