Job Summary:

Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Cardiopulmonary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and operating advanced cardiopulmonary service equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to physician orders and operate cardiopulmonary service equipment
  • Provide patient care and education to patients with respiratory and/or cardiac conditions
  • Maintain current certifications and licenses, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
  • Collaborate with the Cardiopulmonary Manager to ensure effective department operations

Requirements:

  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Respiratory Care Technology Program
  • One (1) year of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital setting

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, night shift position
