About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Tommy Bahama. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dishroom, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, including the proper operation of the dish machine
  • Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of the kitchen by maintaining specified agency standards
  • Participate in a team environment, demonstrating genuine hospitality and team player skills to promote financial and culinary success
  • Foster a positive and relaxed environment for our guests
Requirements
  • 1+ years of high volume culinary/hospitality experience
  • Current food handler's card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant skills, including food/equipment/kitchenware/tableware storage and rotation, proper cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business
Physical Requirements
  • Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
  • Bending/stooping/kneeling required - frequently
  • Routine standing for duration of shift
  • Maneuvering equipment or machinery, including hand carts, blenders, knives, and other tools
