Job Summary:

As a Rural Mail Carrier with the United States Postal Service (USPS), you will play a vital role in delivering mail and packages to customers along a rural route. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver mail and packages to customers along a rural route
• Sort and load mail in delivery sequence
• Receive and sign for accountable mail
• Collect monies and receipts for accountable mail
• Sell stamps, stamped paper, and money orders
• Provide routine information and forms to customers

Requirements:

• Ability to work in all types of weather
• Ability to lift and carry mail and packages weighing up to 70 pounds
• Reliable vehicle for use on the job
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
