As a highly motivated and skilled Electronic Systems Expert, you'll join our team in Virginia Beach, VA, in a remote/hybrid/onsite position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support team members and perform required integration or installation of systems equipment, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and use of test equipment as required.
  • Interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.

  • Multitask efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail.

  • Train junior employees on troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and operating pumps, resulting in an increase in production.
  • Troubleshoot field equipment failures, document maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot or assess electronic equipment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, receiving technical guidance from project managers.
  • Work in government and contractor facilities where awareness is critical, and the highest level of safety and caution must be exercised to eliminate risk.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design, build, and test solutions to various technical problems.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and manuals related to engineering projects.
  • Analyze operations and offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Communicate with personnel in related activities to resolve problems and coordinate work.
  • Perform research, writing, editing, and revising of Navy technical documents.
  • Perform field validations of various watercraft and equipment.
  • Read and comprehend preventive maintenance documents and procedures.
  • Work independently and with others, and perform work between customer sites, shore sites, and/or on ships.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate degree in a related field and 4 years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must have technical experience with AC/DC circuits.
  • Must have experience with HF/VHF/UHF installation/troubleshooting.
  • Must have experience with RF Connectors.
  • Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence.
  • NAVSEA Certified in Fiber Optic Termination.
  • Tower Climber Certified.
  • Education/Training in Electronics, including installation tasks, soldering, cable dressing, cable tray, conduit, and building/repairing connectors.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and hold an Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Required to obtain a CAC badge and Base Security Access approval.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 Lbs.
  • Work extensive time in stationary positions.
  • Climb and descend ladders.
  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and kneel.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
