We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Clinical Supervisor to join our NICU team at Lakeview Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare community, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading our team of dedicated nurses.
Responsibilities- Participate in the day-to-day operations of the NICU, under the supervision of the nursing manager/director.
- Act as a clinical and operations resource person, maintaining current knowledge of clinical practice and departmental operations.
- Supervise departmental employees, including conducting new employee orientation and competency assessment.
- Provide feedback and input for performance evaluations and handle personnel matters as delegated/designated by department manager/director.
- Inspect department and complete routine environmental rounds, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in unit-based and hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives, monitoring compliance with quality standards and core measure initiatives.
- 2 years of professional nursing experience in Level 3 NICU.
- Valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana.
- American Heart Association BLS-HCP, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., CPI certifications.
