Sleep Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at Hospital Sisters Health System. As a Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive polysomnographic testing, scoring, and analysis under the general oversight of the department's assigned leader and/or the medical director.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct polysomnographic testing and scoring in accordance with AASM guidelines and departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform associated interventions and provide patient care under the general oversight of the department's assigned leader and/or the medical director.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sleep medicine and polysomnography.
- Enrollment in an A-Step program is required.
- Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in Polysomnography is required.
- Experience in a sleep lab setting or 1-2 years of equivalent healthcare experience is preferred.
- Experience using EPIC, Meditech, or other healthcare-based data systems is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- A-Step program completion within one year of hire is required.
- Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) and/or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification is preferred.
