Job Description

Overview

Research Medical Center is seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by physicians
  • Administer medical gases, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments
  • Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care
  • NBRC CRT certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire
  • One year of recent clinical experience preferred
