We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Romantix. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our retail store, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for our guests.

• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the store, including floors, surfaces, and restrooms
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve cleanliness and organization, and implement changes as needed
• Patrol the store to prevent theft, safety, and inventory concerns, and communicate with management as necessary
• Perform duties with minimal interruption to guest visit experience
• Ensure use of safe work practices at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of janitorial experience preferred
• Computer literacy and ability to operate in a PC environment
• SDS and chemical safety experience
• General mechanical maintenance, repair, and operation
• Ability to lift and handle objects weighing 50lbs or more

This position requires standing, lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive tasks. Janitors must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
