Job Summary:

About Play is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care and support to families and children aged birth to six years with developmental delays or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide early intervention services to children and families in the Upstate region of South Carolina.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct home visits and provide guidance to families on child development and parenting strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children birth to six years old, preferably in early intervention or a related field.
  • Prior experience as an Early Intervention Specialist is preferred, but recent graduates with a degree in a related field and a willingness for on-the-job training are also encouraged to apply.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child) is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of $40,000 per year.
  • Travel mileage reimbursement at.45 per mile up to a $565 reimbursable monthly cap.
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K (Retirement) benefits.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (8:30 - 5PM).
