About the Role
Mindlance is seeking a skilled Insurance Claim Analyst to join our team. As an Insurance Claim Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex workers' compensation claims and determining benefits due. Your expertise in claim management, negotiation skills, and ability to work with high exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation will be invaluable assets to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims by investigating and gathering information to determine exposure on the claim
* Manage claims through well-developed action plans to achieve timely resolution
* Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority level
* Calculate and assign timely and appropriate reserves to claims, managing reserve adequacy throughout the life of the claim
* Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients, maintaining professional relationships

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
* Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
* Subject matter expert of insurance principles and laws, recoveries offsets and deductions, claim and disability duration, cost containment principles, and medical management practices
* Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
* PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
* Strong analytical and interpretive skills, organizational skills, good interpersonal skills, excellent negotiation skills, and ability to work in a team environment

Work Environment
* Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion
* Ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines
