We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for conducting medical imaging examinations and diagnostic procedures to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct medical imaging examinations and diagnostic procedures to produce high-quality images and ensure patient safety.
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring proper identification and order verification.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to alleviate anxiety and facilitate cooperation.
- Perform radiologic exams using proper protocols, correct patient positioning, and adherence to radiation protection guidelines.
- Utilize sterile technique when performing invasive procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Recognize emergent patient situations and respond quickly and appropriately.
- Accurately complete required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
- Coordinate patient care and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
- ARRT registration
- Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
- Preferred Qualifications: IV Certification
This position is part of our Canyons South Market Float Pool, providing coverage for clinics in Utah County, Park City, and Heber. Travel between clinics is required, and shifts may qualify for mileage reimbursement.
