North Vernon, Indiana, United States MRG Exams Full time

At MRG Exams, we are seeking a skilled Veteran Care Specialist to join our team. This role involves conducting medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In this position, you will review medical records electronically and perform focused physical exams on each Veteran. You will also document your findings using our web portal. Please note that this role does not involve making disability determinations – those decisions are made by the United States Veterans Administration.

This is an in-person position with a set schedule: 2 days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 8am-4pm. You will be performing Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.

Requirements:
  • A current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (NCCPA accredited)
  • Proficiency in using a computer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include training and continued support, health insurance options, and a company-provided computer. Your typical day will involve working with 3 to 5 patients, and you'll have the opportunity to serve the veteran community while enjoying a regular schedule and no on-call duties.

This role is ideal for individuals interested in independent medical assessments and possess excellent time management skills. If you're passionate about serving veterans and working in a clinical setting, we encourage you to apply.
