Position Overview:

Under general supervision, the Construction Equipment Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of heavy machinery. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in all tasks performed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and promote all safety protocols, ensuring that all incidents are reported to maintain our core value of safety.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with both on-road and off-road construction equipment.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and machinery.
  • Perform minor welding tasks as required.
  • Accurately complete daily work orders and submit approved parts requests.
  • Provide field service repairs as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Execute other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience working with large and small construction machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a flexible schedule.
  • Possession of personal tools and a valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
  • Adaptability to changing work schedules.
