**Job Overview**

The Mechanical Equipment Technician is a crucial role at Disability Solutions, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our drilling equipment. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your technical expertise to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, air systems, and hydraulic components.

With a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and excellent problem-solving skills, you will be able to support the majority of components on Noble Drilling equipment. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in maintaining the highest level of quality and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, air systems, and hydraulic components to identify issues and recommend repairs.
  • Utilize technical documentation to locate parts and materials required for repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on drilling equipment.
  • Collaborate with rig crews to provide training and support on operator maintenance, technical level, and troubleshooting skills.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience in mechanical equipment maintenance or a similar field.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

**Benefits and Compensation**

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan matching, and paid time off. Estimated annual salary: $90,500.
