The Resident Caregiver plays a vital role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. This position requires a high level of empathy, patience, and professionalism in interacting with residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, food service, and housekeeping.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Provide emotional support and socialization opportunities to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services provided.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working with elderly populations, preferably in a dementia care setting.
  • Basic reading and writing skills, with the ability to speak English in an understandable manner.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, with the capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
