We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at NOV, Inc.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer with expertise in mechanical design to take on a senior leadership role. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle, prioritizing resources and projects to meet company goals, and adhering to all NOV policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of design experience. You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with engineering standards and procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a design team.

In this role, you will establish and maintain relationships with manufacturing, operations, vendors, sales, service, and customer groups to provide engineering support. You will also develop innovative mechanical design solutions for new product designs, improvements, and changes, creating, reviewing, and revising design layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, bills of material, tolerance studies, and parts lists.

You will analyze and apply technical specifications to ensure compliance, produce detailed engineering reports documenting design efforts and results, identify opportunities for product improvement, and perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

About the Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of design experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with engineering standards and procedures.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a design team.
