Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Mercy Health System. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures and related techniques. You will administer x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques
  • Administer x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care
  • Assist the department coordinator by providing clinical leadership and completing projects
  • Perform diagnostic CT procedures and radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable radiographic exams if assigned
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Radiographer experience preferred if assigned to perform radiographer duties
  • Three years experience as a CT technologist required
  • ARRT Radiography registration required
  • ARRT Computed Tomography registration required
  • IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
  • WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
  • Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and or move up to 100 pounds.
