Responsibilities:
- The Flight Controls Specialist is responsible for the removal and installation of flight control surfaces, components, and repair to ensure airworthiness. Utilizing OEM and Engineering drawings to modify aircraft structure and flight controls on aircraft as required. The Flight Controls Mechanic must be able to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of aircraft systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of flight control systems to identify any defects or malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
- Repair damaged or worn components using specialized tools and equipment.
- Document all work performed in accordance with company procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Flight Controls Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance principles.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
