Position Overview:

The Risk Management Division at Fidelity TalentSource LLC is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to aid in the identification, monitoring, and mitigation of risks to safeguard the interests of both the firm and its clients. The Risk Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring customer protection and enhancing trust in Fidelity by collaborating with various business units to pinpoint risks and devise innovative solutions that strengthen controls, while promoting a robust risk culture within the organization.

About the Team

This team offers Risk Management support to specific Corporate Functions at Fidelity, including but not limited to Corporate Accounting, Corporate Tax, and the Fund Billing & Expense team within Fund Operations.

This role is integrated within a broader Risk Management team that collaborates with other groups in Fund Operations, as well as various Corporate Functions such as Corporate Treasury, Procurement, and Human Resources.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory
  • Over 5 years of relevant industry experience, encompassing Audit or Risk Management functions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proven leadership or project management experience
  • Comprehension of, and alignment with, the vision, mission, and strategy of Risk Management
  • Strategic thinker with a creative approach to work, capable of challenging existing practices and proposing enhancements to mitigate risks and drive positive change
  • Proficient in data analytics tools and capabilities (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau); adept at transitioning from sample-based testing to comprehensive population analysis to uncover risks or identify control weaknesses
  • Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, adjusting focus swiftly according to risk or business requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to influence stakeholders; tailors messages to suit the audience
  • Builds strong, inclusive relationships with business partners and colleagues, both in-person and virtually
  • Adaptable to new information, shifting business priorities, feedback from others, and lessons learned
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management, including risk assessment and control evaluation
  • Preferred subject matter expertise in Corporate Accounting, Fund Accounting, and Audit areas
