Long-Term High School Substitute - Spanish Educator
This role is designated for a long-term substitute to fill in during an extended absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for instructing the designated High School Spanish courses.
  • Foster a classroom atmosphere that is secure and supportive of individualized and small group learning, enhancing student engagement.
  • Develop educational activities that illustrate the relevance of language learning to real-life scenarios, emphasizing critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Utilize various assessment methods to encourage student development and achievement across the curriculum.
  • Engage with fellow educators and take part in faculty meetings and collaborative committees.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Missouri Teacher Certification in Spanish for grades 9-12
  • Minimum Requirement: Substitute Certification

Compensation:

The daily compensation for individuals holding a substitute certification is $175. A higher rate is available for certified, retired educators.
