Criminological Specialist

CoreCivic is seeking a Criminological Specialist for a challenging role in Natchez, Mississippi.

This position involves providing high-quality care to offenders in an institutional setting. Our mental health teams make lasting changes in the lives of inmates, and we're looking for professionals who share our passion for delivering exceptional care.

• We require a Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state where practice occurs is essential.
• The ideal candidate will have two years' clinical experience, including one year in a comparable position.

You'll work collaboratively with other clinical staff to gather and provide information concerning patient psychological problems, ensuring treatment activities are well integrated, and patient care follow-through occurs.

• Conducting psychological screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Providing treatment to inmates by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
• Making regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess inmate adjustment and mental health treatment needs.

We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 per hour, making this a lucrative opportunity for experienced professionals.
