Phlebotomy Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Sonic Anatomic Pathology. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and customer-focused service. You will be responsible for performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, collecting and preparing non-blood specimens, and ensuring proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service
* Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages
* Collect and prepare non-blood specimens
* Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering
* Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Previous phlebotomy training or experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Basic computer and data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
* Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
