Job Summary

Bel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our production department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with company objectives for production, quality, service, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Direct daily production activities of assigned manufacturing areas, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting production targets.
  • Policy Administration: Support and administer approved company policies, clearly communicating new policies and objectives to all associates.
  • Quality and Productivity: Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas, continuously working to improve in all areas.
  • Departmental Flow Analysis: Analyze departmental flow, investigate, justify, and initiate productivity and/or efficiency improvements.
  • Recruitment and Training: Participate in the recruitment and selection of new associates, provide orientation and on-the-job training to ensure that the expectations of each position are defined and understood.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure that manufacturing areas are maintained at an acceptable level at all times.
  • Teamwork and Safety: Support teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work, perform duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 5 years warehouse experience required, comprehensive product knowledge, and previous experience with associate training, job coaching/counseling, and performance management.
  • Language Skills: Bi-lingual fluent in English and Spanish language.
  • Skills: Ability to interpret general business and financial reports, write and interpret operating procedures, and effectively present information, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines, computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
