Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Class B driver to join our team as a Medical Waste Collector. As a Medical Waste Collector, you will be responsible for safely collecting, delivering, and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations
  • Provide strong customer service and build positive relationships with customers
  • Operate vehicles in a safe manner, adhering to DOT regulations and company policies
  • Complete deliveries on time, communicating changes or challenges as they arise
  • Load and unload medical waste containers, prioritizing and organizing your truck according to schedule and needs
  • Manage your route, delivering timely, efficient, and effective service
  • Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and participating in roadside inspections
  • Perform heavy lifting as required

Requirements

  • CDL B License Required
  • Delivery experience within any industry, with manual handling experience an advantage
  • Willingness to work full-time hours, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
  • Clean driving record
  • Flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
  • Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner, including large box trucks
  • Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
  • Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
  • Proven longevity in past employment
  • On-time delivery practices
