About This Role

We're seeking a skilled Meat Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a Meat Associate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process deliveries, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Weigh, price, and label products to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stock and rotate products, ensuring maximum freshness and availability.
  • Prepare valued-added products, such as cuts and special orders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing queries and concerns with a smile.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of product knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.
  • Ensure adherence to sanitation and food safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as physical base scores for this position.
  • Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools used to perform this job.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment.
