Job Summary:

Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a skilled Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA or Physical Therapist/PT to join the Baptist Nassau Rehab team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients, working under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients as directed by the patient care plan and supervised by the physical therapist.
  • Ensure completion of all required documentation of patient care activities.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures of the center.
  • Fulfill all duties assigned by the physical therapist or the Site Coordinator.
  • Report any injuries or adverse reactions during or after treatment.
  • Participate in patient review conferences and staffing.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a FL Physical Therapist Assistant or FL Physical Therapist license.
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
  • Must have one or more years of clinical experience.
  • BLS is required.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact appropriately with patients and staff.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficient.
