Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

TLC Nursing Services is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in an Interventional Radiology setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preoperative Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients prior to procedures to identify their health needs and develop care plans.
  • Instrumentation and Equipment Management: Prepare and maintain the procedure room and its equipment, including sterile technique, instrumentation and supplies, and monitoring equipment.
  • Intraoperative Patient Care: Provide direct patient care during procedures, including monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and responding to any emergency situations that may arise.
  • Postoperative Care: Provide care to patients after procedures, including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and observing for signs of complications.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work with interventional radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintenance of Medical Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records and document patient care activities.
  • Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advances in interventional radiology and perioperative care.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a current RN license and several years of experience as a registered nurse in an interventional radiology or perioperative care setting. Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are also important qualities for this role. Additionally, experience with interventional radiology procedures and a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology is highly desirable.

This is a contracted travel position with TLC Nursing Services.
