About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team as a Mechanical Systems Design Specialist at Everest Consultants, Inc. in Inglewood, CA.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

About the Role:

In this role, you will support the development and documentation of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances.

Your responsibilities will include designing and providing analysis of interim and final engineering solutions, overseeing documentation of hardware-related issues, and supporting the development, maintenance, or modification of system, component, and installation designs/proposals.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 10-15+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, with a strong background in mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies
  • Proficiency in CATIA (preferred) and PDM Smart Team
  • Expertise in creating design concepts using hand sketches and CAD tools
  • Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools, or assemblies
  • Working knowledge of Military standards and compliance rules and regulations mandated under AS9100 & ITAR
  • Strong written and verbal business communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
