Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Class A Flatbed Truck Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials to various destinations. Your primary focus will be ensuring the secure loading and unloading of cargo, maintaining meticulous vehicle upkeep, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate a tractor-trailer unit to transport materials according to specified routes and delivery schedules.
  • Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and other essential components.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption using company-provided tablets.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers to receive delivery instructions and updates.
  • Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) without E Restriction.
  • Proven experience operating flatbed trucks (preferred but not required; training provided).
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to DOT regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
